The tears caused by the death of his grandfather have barely finished drying before they give way to anger.
Marie, 29, filed a complaint on January 13 at the La Roche-sur-Yon police station (Vendée) on behalf of Jean-François, her 86-year-old grandfather who died four days earlier, for the theft of an object particularly rare: a pure gold coin 2 to 3 cm in diameter minted twenty-one centuries ago.
A 6.82g treasure that Jean-François wore as a pendant.

For Marie, there is no doubt, it was at the Vendée departmental hospital, more precisely in the nephrology department of the establishment, that the events occurred, between December 5 and 7.
“On December 5, my grandfather had a simple appointment at the hospital.
He was finally hospitalized urgently,” says the young woman, who has since embarked on a real treasure hunt.
