With 4 seats, a removable glass roof, 1000 km of autonomy and a maximum speed of over 400 km/h, there is no doubt that the Tesla Roadster has significantly raised expectations on the potential of the brand which, for years, has all-in on battery-powered cars.
On the official website it is possible to book it after a fully refundable advance payment of 4000 euros to be paid by credit card, which must be followed by a payment of another 39,000 euros within 10 days.
So far nothing new, except that recently, as reported by motorauthority.com, the owner Elon Musk admitted directly from his social network X that the car will be finished in design and revealed by the end of the year.
Which represents interesting news, considering the announcement of the car as a concept, dating back to 2017, and the wait for the final model in the years to come.
But there is more, because if on the official website we learn that the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h will be covered in 2.1 seconds, on X, Musk, responding to a user, specified how the Roadster can sprint from 0 at 60 mph, approximately 96 km/h, in less than 1 second, leading to the assumption that the time for 0-100 km/h could also be lowered.
While deliveries are expected to begin in 2025, it has not been specified whether there will be a change in price from the base 200 thousand dollars announced in 2017 for the USA, as reported by motorauthority.com, the equivalent of around 185 thousand euros.
