Katie Quinn has been working at a Chinese restaurant for the past two years where she has had a significant number of dangerous falls. She has taken from all the security cameras all her embarrassing moments stumbling, slipping and dropping trays and pancakes on the floor - and sharing the amusing video on her Twitter page. She said: "1:43 minutes of trouble proving why I shouldn't be hired as a waitress just two years ago today" - the video received 24,000 repeat tweets and 100,000 likes.
Some viewers have argued that her falls may not be due to being clumsy, but simply because she may not be equipped with comfortable work shoes. One wrote: "Most employers don't really care. What matters to them is that they wear matching work shoes. My work is very strict on that." Another joked: "Your shoes are made of banana peel?" Some expressed genuine concern for Katie's safety and recommended that she purchase appropriate footwear. "Do you know what this girl needs? A pair of Thompson's Premgrip shoes," one commenter added, "can I please buy you new shoes? I pay."
