Kuka Palmon is being made up for her appearance on »Miss Holocaust Survivor«.
"After everything I went through during the Holocaust, I would never have dreamed that I would be where I am now with a large family: two children, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren," said 87 -Year-olds.
A total of ten women between 79 and 90 years of age took part in the beauty competition.
According to the organizers, the competition is intended to bring glamor and respect to a dwindling number of Jewish women whose youth were stolen during World War II, but critics say the event is tasteless.
