The President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella turns 81.
The head of state, who dissolved the Chambers this week, effectively opening the political elections on September 25th, will not spend the day with his family as he did a year ago to celebrate his 80th birthday.
He is in fact in Turin to participate in the ceremony on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the establishment of the Carabinieri School.
On social networks there are many greetings messages addressed to Mattarella.

The Pope's wishes.
"In this particular situation, marked by many difficulties and crucial choices for the life of the country, you continue to offer a fundamental and essential contribution, with kind authority and exemplary dedication".
This was stated by Pope Francis in a greeting telegram sent to the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella on the occasion of his 81st birthday ".
"On the happy anniversary of your birthday, I wish to share cordial greetings with you, ensuring the prayerful remembrance for your person and for the high service you perform in favor of the beloved Italian people", writes Francis in his message to the head of state.
"I therefore gladly join those who share today's joy - adds the Pontiff -, formulating the best wishes for your birthday and, while I renew my personal esteem, I send the apostolic blessing, which I extend to family members, collaborators and all whole nation, asking you to pray for me ".
