(ANSA) - ROME, 03 APR - Green light from the EU Commission to an Italian scheme worth 450 million euros to support the integrated production of hydrogen and renewable electricity in abandoned industrial areas.
The measure is financed under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (Pnrr).
The aid, highlights Brussels, has the objective of promoting the transition to a zero-emission economy, in line with the European Green Deal.
The scheme was approved under the rules of the EU temporary crisis framework on state aid to support the European economy and businesses in the green transition.
