Tragic traffic accident this Wednesday evening in Clichy (Hauts-de-Seine).
A man who was riding a scooter died, in circumstances yet to be established, after being struck by a RATP bus, at the corner of boulevard Jean-Jaurès and rue Estienne-d'Orves.
The accident happened shortly before 7 p.m.
The man did not survive despite the cardiac massages carried out by the doctors of the Samu and the significant means deployed by the rescue teams called on the spot.
An investigation has been opened
More than 25 firefighters were in fact mobilized in this accident, which required the intervention of an extrication truck.
In particular, the firefighters had to use a lifting device to rescue the victim, trapped under the bus.
The 31-year-old man lived in Clichy.
An investigation was opened to determine precisely the circumstances of this accident.
The investigations will include examining the images captured by the CCTV cameras.
This is the second fatal accident involving a scooter rider in the region in a month.
At the end of July, a policewoman from Paris had died while going to her workplace on an electric scooter.
It had fallen, before violently colliding with a stopped RATP bus, according to the first elements of the investigation.
