#CancelNetflix is growing on social media after the streaming giant has implemented a tightening, even in Italy, to its password sharing policy. Users express dissatisfaction with a service that requires an extra cost to allow a user outside their household to access content, posting their cancellation notification.
Some British sites report that in the UK, Google searches with the term Delete Netflix account have increased by almost 3% since the streaming company started sending alert emails to users who share passwords outside their families. Some Telegram channels offer access to the monthly premium plan of Netflix for just over 2 euros.
