Roberto and María Ester, Julia Coria's parents, are still missing. They were kidnapped in February 1977 when Julia was two months old.

Julia was raised by her grandparents, who raised her because her mother had gone mad. With the help of a former Uruguayan detainee, Julia won a scholarship to study in France. She met a survivor of Vesuvius named Anna. The testimony he got from that survivor is something he treasures with emotion. He told her that the father had abandoned them and that the mother had taken the little sisters to France.
