Pol Espargaró suffered a serious fall at the premiere of the MotoGP World Championship in Portugal. The 31-year-old has already recovered from three broken vertebrae and two broken ribs.

The Spaniard hopes to return to racing in May 2023. He has been a motorcycle racer since he was two-years-old and has won the Moto2 world title in 2013. He says that his life partner and future wife Carlota has helped him to continue pursuing his great passion.
