Between the replicas of Notre-Dame de Paris and Fort Boyard and the children's games, small machines come and go which pique the curiosity of visitors to the France Miniature park, in Élancourt (Yvelines).
No less than sixteen mini-trains run permanently on a network of 4 km of railway tracks scattered among the reduced versions of the greatest monuments in France.
Every day, two little hands are busy starting up the machines while then ensuring monitoring and repairs.
This job is that of David Danquigny, who works in the little-known profession of model railway monitoring and maintenance agent.
He is looking for a second who can help him manage the network this summer.
This Tuesday, March 12, the park is organizing a job dating* to find around thirty seasonal workers, from shop and restaurant employees to reception staff.
