An elderly person walks past a stall displaying multiple varieties of olives and various oriental spices.
“But why are you settled here?
And where is the butcher?

Confused, many customers at the Aubervilliers market (Seine-Saint-Denis) lost their way this Thursday morning.
The city center market hall was closed by municipal decree after the passage of a security commission on February 23.
This noted several “anomalies”, including the malfunction of the alarm system, fire valves and lighting.
“These findings result in a significant risk of fire outbreaks as well as a deterioration in the conditions of evacuation and emergency intervention,” wrote the prefecture of Seine-Saint-Denis in a letter requesting the town hall to take this order.
