An investigation was opened by the Bobigny public prosecutor's office after two men, this Friday, forced a resident of Rosny-sous-Bois to give them more than 50,000 euros in cash, according to her, who was at her home.
The investigations were entrusted to the Seine-Saint-Denis departmental judicial police service (SDPJ93).
So far, no suspects have been arrested.
It was around 5 p.m. when the two men surprised the victim as she was returning to her apartment.
One of them, equipped with a pistol, then aims his caliber at the hips of the occupant of the premises in order to intimidate her and force her to enter her home.
The two men say they come from a town in Val-de-Marne and make him understand that they are aware of a large sum hidden in his home.
A victim in shock
At gunpoint, the victim complies and gives them the money which was hidden in a bag of rice.
After stealing the 50,000 euros, they also steal his phone and the keys to his home.
After a few minutes, the two men leave, leaving behind an extremely shocked victim, even if she was not physically assaulted during the extortion.
Heard by the police, however, she expressed her suspicions about a person potentially involved in the theft by pointing to a man from her family circle with whom she is in conflict and who would come from the same city as that announced by the two suspects.
