The district office is promoting a bicycle campaign over the Easter period.
Anyone who discovers stickers on the paths can take part in a competition.
The background is to promote cycling and the path network.
District – The Easter Bunny is cycling through the district again: “oSTAradeln” is taking place for the second time at Easter.
From Good Friday, March 29th, to Easter Monday, April 1st, citizens can find Easter eggs on the route of the district cycle path, which have been attached as stickers to the cycle path signage, and take part in an Easter competition using a QR code.
The district office points this out in a press release.
“The aim of the campaign is to increase awareness of cycling, the existing cycle paths and the progressive optimization of cycle path signage,” writes district office spokesman Stefan Diebl.
At the start, District Administrator Stefan Frey, Christoph Winkelkötter, Managing Director of the Society for Economic and Tourism Promotion (gwt), Matthias Leis, Operations Manager of Starnberg Lake Shipping, and other project participants will be on Maundy Thursday, March 28th, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the lake promenade in Starnberg to be found at the height of the steamer jetty.
They inform passersby and interested parties and distribute small Easter presents.
How to end up in the draw
And this is how you end up in the draw: Take a picture of yourself with the Easter egg sticker, scan the QR code and fill out the form with your contact details and upload the picture.
“If any deficiencies in the signage are noticed during the bike tour, these can optionally be indicated in the form,” explains Diebl.
In the best case, in the damage report on the district's homepage at www.lk-starnberg.de/Schadensmelder.
Three main prizes will be raffled off among all participants, which District Administrator Frey will hand over at the district office.
The communities of Berg, Feldafing, Gilching, Herrsching, Inning, Krailling, Seefeld, Tutzing and Weßling have already optimized their signage or are currently in the process of doing so.
