Last night (Sunday) the final of the French table tennis championship provided the most emotional moments, when the LeBron brothers faced each other in front of a full and excited hall in Montpellier.
The night before, the two won the doubles championship together, but in the singles final they had to play against each other.
At the end of an exciting match, the older brother Alexi (20 years old, ranked 22nd in the world) defeated his younger brother Felix (17 years old, ranked 5th in the world) 2:4 in sets and was crowned the national champion for the third time in a row.
Immediately after the game-winning hit, Alexey celebrated ecstatically and then jumped on the table and waved his arms up as he fired up the crowd and roared with enthusiasm.
After he got off, he went over to comfort his little brother who just wouldn't stop crying.
Felix, the third youngest player in the history of the sport to enter the world top 5 (in front of him in the current ranking only four athletes from China), could have forced a seventh set in the match, but in the situation of 6:10 he did not know how to take advantage of four set points, then 10:10 prolonged the drama Until Alexi won 14:16 and completed winning the tournament.
"After the doubles title with Felix, I couldn't have dreamed of a better ending," boasted the winner.

By the way, this is the second time that Alexi has won the title after a victory in the final over his little brother and he is still undefeated against him: four meetings and four victories.
